Ode to My OB/GYN Physician

Of all the medical relationships we may encounter over the years, I think the bond we women establish with our OB/GYN physician is the most profound.  Yesterday, during my annual "well woman" check-up, I found myself reflecting on all the many life changes and situations my doctor has shared with our family over the years.  Then I came home and wrote about them.

  1. I had no idea that's where K got her middle name. Thought I was going to get to meet Dr. Lacey yesterday, finally, until I was told I was a month early for my appointment.

  2. What an amazing story. I'm so sorry for your loss but grateful you had the strength and the support when you needed it.

    As for OB/GYNs, I love mine and told her I stress more over going to the dentist. She laughed because her sister IS a dentist and my doctor always tells her that dental patients hate their doctors more than OB/GYN patients do. So true!
