It's National Foster Care Awareness Month!

In honor of National Foster Care Awareness Month, I would like to share some links to a few organizations that I have found that are committed to helping find homes for and raise awareness about the needs of children in foster care all year round. Please take some time to visit these websites over the next couple of weeks. Perhaps you will find some tidbit of information that will change your mind about foster care, or, better yet, find something that you can do to help these children achieve their full potential.

As the summer months approach, take time to remember those children who need guidance and love, but often have no place to turn for either. The future of our communities depends on our willingness to teach and support those who are so often forgotten!
